The unit fits perfectly into the Oculus Quest 2 with a reassuring click. The sponge is very soft and comfortable and didn't cause me to sweat at all. Once attached to my Quest I had no difficulty wearing the unit or storing it away in its case.

Sadly I don't find this one as comfortable as my others (less padding) and it also lets more light leak in so not really ideal but it will do as a spare or one to fit when letting sweaty friends and family have a shot of my Quest ;)

Sadly not made for people with glasses, product does it job but not comfortable enough.

This was very easy to install into my oculus. I just pulled out and unclipped my old one, and clipped in this one. When testing it out, I found it completely blocks out all external light, even at the nose. And it feels cooler and more gentle on my nose and face too.I actually had to cut out the nose flaps which block out the light, just so I can look down my nose to the floor to make sure I know where I am during the middle of gaming. That's me personally as I'm moving around a lot during game play.I'd very much recommend this.

I was eager to try this for the Oculus Quest 2 because the original pad tends to get sweaty after long play sessions... actually, even after like 40 minutes! So, I was looking for something a bit more breathable. In that sense, this definitely does the job—the mesh fabric feels nicer on my skin, it doesn't trap heat as much, and doesn't have that grippy feeling that leaves a noticable imprint on your face after an hour. It's more comfortable in that sense.However, the padding is thinner than the original, both in depth and overall coverage. This means there's less surface area, so it feels a bit more pressured on certain parts of your face. And, the nose area is a bit awkward, and there's some light leakage which can mess up the clarity of the inner screen.If it were a bit thicker, I think it would be the perfect replacement, but if you're just looking for something that feels better on your skin, regardless of the compromise, then it's something to consider!
