I am fortunate to review this product but I will share my honest opinion and whether I would pay for this with my own moneyContext: I am a amateur photographer, when I'm out and about without my camera, I do find it annoying taking images with the selfie camera on my phones, so this product should be ideal to use the back cameraPros:- Easy to use, simply turn the device on and connect from your phone wirelessly. Instructions are displayed on the device- On my Samsung S24 it picks up the connection straight awayCons:- I simply cannot get this to connect to my iPhone 13. It does not see the device when trying to mirror- On my S24, the orientation in the camera app is a real issue. By default, it was not orienting correctly when the camera was being held in portrait, but it was orienting correctly in landscape. I managed to fix that by going into smartview settings and manually orienting the display, this meant that portrait orientation was correct, but not landscape. That's pretty annoying. Not sure if this is the fault of the display or a Samsung issue, but either way it makes it difficult to use the display with the cameraOverall this has been a frustrating experience. One bright point is that it works as a wireless display for Windows, so I'm planning to use this a 3rd monitor for my work machine just for chat applications

Many times I create videos from above and I often wonder if I'm still in frame so this little screen has taken those worries away. I have a metal bakers rack that I attach it to, with the strong magnet it comes with, and i can see exactly what my camera is recording.It connected really easy to my older LG V60 and the best part of that it doesn't require any additional software!I recommend this screen if you shoot video from angles where you can't see the viewscreen.

Utilisé avec un iPhone 15 Pro (et testé aussi sur le 16), ce petit écran fait son effet une fois configuré… mais faut s’armer d’un peu de patience. La première connexion est franchement laborieuse, pas très intuitive. Une fois passé ce cap, par contre, ça fonctionne plutôt bien.En mode selfie ou retour caméra, c’est fluide, l’image est propre, et la latence reste très correcte. Et bonne surprise : ça marche aussi sous Windows. Je m’en sers comme petit écran secondaire sans fil, par exemple intégré dans un PC, avec affichage des infos système (températures, charge, etc.). Pour un setup un peu geek et soigné, c’est clairement fun.Le boîtier magnétique est bien fichu, pratique à fixer n’importe où. C’est un vrai outil pour les bidouilleurs, pas juste un gadget.Maintenant, à 85 €, on est dans un entre-deux : c’est cool, mais on peut trouver plus simple ou moins cher, surtout avec l’USB-C des nouveaux iPhones. Pour Android ou autres OS… mystère. Disons que c’est un bon terrain de jeu, mais pas un produit plug & play.

I was getting gear ready for a 48-hour short-film competition, saw this, and thought it would be good to add to my kit so that someone else could monitor while filming.When I received it, I was pretty shocked by how well it worked. I simply connected my phone to it via AirPlay/screen mirroring and it happily showed my screen. Ultimately, we did not use it during filming as we did a stop-motion project instead, but I'll keep it in my kit.There are some caveats, though:- the picture has a lot of backlight bleeding through- the battery life is not great- any copy-protected content will not be displayed on it, so if you had hopes of using it as a second display, look elsewhere
