These fins are very comfortable. I use them on my fish tube. I would give them 5 stars if you were not so awkward on land. But that is with most fins.

I am a masters competitive swimmer and swim 6 miles a week. A lot of my swim workouts include kicking drills and I always use cheap swim fins for the kicking drills. With just a cheap pair of bootie type swim fins, it takes me 8 dolphin kicks underwater to go from one end of a 25 yard pool to the other. These fins took me 22 kicks to go the same distance! That is just a little over 1/3 the thrust of my normal cheap swim fins and it would be even less if I compare them to my free diving fins. I own 5 other pairs of fins and every other pair way out performs these fins in forward thrust. If you want something light to travel with or wear over your dry suit boots (I use another type when using my dry suit) that are just a little bit better than shoes, than these fins will be fine for you. If you want a pair of fins that actually propel yourself through the water, these are not for you. I'm returning mine.

Bought these because the original fins they are based on had great reviews from a scuba gear comparison website. These appear better than the originals because they're held on by springs instead of straps and are super easy to put on while on a dive boat in full gear and even easier to take off in the water so you can toss them on the boat before climbing the ladder. They're also really fast in the water, almost as fast as my top of the line Apollo bio-fins, But the best part of all is the weight and size. They're shorter and much lighter than standard fins so they're easy to walk in, carry, and pack. The Apollo Bio-fins on the other hand were long and super heavy and difficult to maneuver on the boat (they were also a pain in the butt to pull off).In summary, very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to any diver that prefers to wear boots when diving.

I wanted to love these fins, but even after adjusting the spring strap, the small size was too big (I wear a women's size 8B shoe). The footbox is very wide. I tried these with neoprene socks, but they were still way too big. Maybe with diving boots they would work, but i don't want boots for warm water.
