I have three lawns. These look really really cool when running. Plus they are more efficient (less evaporation).Cons: There are situations where they undershoot or overshoot. There are a dozen plus patterns/distance configurations. With standard heads there are a hundred plus. So, I have areas where I either have to dig up and reposition pipes to get my coverage to work.

I have a small yard and I'm a big fan of the normal side-strips, this one works pretty well. The "magic" seems to be a small piece of plastic wedged in the water outlet that prevents it from becoming a full side-strip.

Easy to convert existing sprinklers to rotary. These are very quiet; you don't even hear the water running. Eliminates lost water from misting of conventional sprinkler heads. Note: you must extend the watering time with these heads. The output is slower so that the water droplets can sink into the soil.
