I have Klipsch Heresy speakers and B&Ws and run a lot of audiophile equipment. I usually pair my setup with a 12” sub, but I’m moving into an apartment soon and needed to scale down a bit. I bought these and hooked them up to a 100 wpc Marantz AVR to test them and the sound is astonishing. The bass response is remarkable for a “bookshelf” speaker. Get some good stands and work on the room placement for a bit and these won’t disappoint.

These speakers are great for my application as rear-surround speakers. Crystal clear and handles both high-end and lower bass reproduction.

These get super loud, one of these could handle a keger house party.The pictures show cherry but it is infact walnut, and at 200 a speaker! They could have been hot pink for all I care.These speakers sound great at all volumes im running them at 60w per channel, They are really easy to power! Honestly I wish i bought a smaller amp, I might have to get a mini dsp to turn down the output a bit.If you hate your neighbors just click that checkout button already.

I initiated a return on these K RB81 II speakers, but am experiencing reluctance to return them. Anticipating their return, I purchased the K RP600m II speakers in a piano black finish. But the RB81 speakers with the 8" woofers are just so darn evocative. Inspired by the quality sound, I'm embarrassed to admit I searched, several hours way into the early morning light, for higher-end audiophile quality 'bookshelf' speakers with the 8" punch and found nothing else exists at the $700 price point...nothing, nada. This speaker fills a unique place among all the other bookshelf speakers. The RB81 speakers would be incredibly beautiful in a piano black finish. Truly exceptional high fidelity sound that improved with time. I placed them on a pair of 28" Monolith Speaker Stands.

replaced my heavy floor speakers with two of these. you need good brackets for them as they weigh 30 pounds each. they sound just as good as my 8 inch floor speakers did and don't use up the floor space
