This is a great little lock. Its very handy for protecting the parts of my bike (like the seat) that are not easy to lock with conventional bike locks. Its also great for quickly locking the bike, when I need to leave the bike for 2 mins to pop into the shop and don't want the hassle of locking it up fully. It would be better if the body was made from something sturdier than plastic and was a bit narrower to fit in my saddle bag, but otherwise its a great bit of kit.

Ease of use and reliable. My son has a serious eating / genetic disorder and is under medical supervision. The lock was recommended by a member of a Prader Wili group...it's being used to lock a french style double door fridge with bottom freezer. My son is most importantly safe, and the lock is easy to use. Brings comfort to an otherwise difficult situation.

Palm size, fits easily in a jersey pocket or saddle bag. Pretty light. It was very simple to set the combination, and easy to use. When you want something small enough to always have available on the bike, minimal security to discourage a crime of opportunity during a quick stop, something like this is the answer.The downsides are that only a 4-digit code is pretty easy to brute-force, and the thin cable or the mechanism won't be hard for a thief to defeat with a few tools. I use other arrangements when I'm away from my bike for much time. But the same drawbacks could apply to the more expensive retractable locks so I'm happy with this one.I would dock it to 4 stars because of the 4-digit code, which is really too small, except that I knew that when I bought it and it's very clear from the picture. Just be aware in case you didn't notice.
