Good kit that works well. Soldering iron heats up well and quickly. Not had a chance to use the hot air gun yet, but its far far better than my old soldering iron.

ACHTUNG!das design ist lebensmüde, es befinden sich zwei male stecker am Hauptmodul. Beim Stecker für den Heißluftföhn liegen 220V an (gleichspannung). Ich habe ein unangenehmes erlebnis damit gehabt.Wer so seine Geräte designt sollte verklagt werden.Wie hätte es sein müssen:Wenn wo hohe Spannungen anliegen sollen dort female stecker verbaut werden und der Föhn hätte einen male stecker haben müssen, so wäre ein berühren der Kontakte unmöglich.

I wanted a small soldering station. I don't solder on a daily basis but recurrently, and if anything is blocking me, normally I postpone it.Therefore, this fits the purpose. The power cord can be detached so storing it is even easier.The iron stand is metal - poorly cut - but metal.Now, I do have a soldering station comprised of a stand, a loupe, iron holder and solder cleaning area. Was used with a TS100.In comparison to that setup I find that the iron works really, really well. TS100 is nice, of course, but this one at 380 degrees melts solder faster than TS100 at 410.Hot Air station has enough air to work small parts (fixed a usb-c connector w/o Loupe, an usb HUB micro-USB port + power connector) so I guess it fits the purpose. Of course, use the right nozzle for the job... if you use the smaller one for small parts, you'll push them with air, so use no nozzle or the big one for these jobs.I only give it 4 stars because of how the iron and hot air elements are connected to the station. I've read that on the "HW model" this station is based, the contacts are live even when nothing is plugged... so there's a big risk if you use "one side or the other" alone... I'd rather have some plug caps here, so I give it 4 stars.
