This camera cage is an absolute must-have for Sony A6700 users! The fit is perfect, and the build quality is top-notch—solid yet lightweight. I love the Arca base and built-in quick release plate, which makes switching between setups super fast and easy. It provides great protection for my camera while also adding multiple mounting options for accessories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their rig!

Sehr durchdacht und besser als "SmallRig", weil man hier einzelne Teile, die verschraubt sind, entfernen kann und somit sehr flexibel ist.

Edit: there's a lot to like about this cage, but what I discovered is that it sits about a half-inch above the top of the camera, which interested with adding a hot-shoe mount flash.Got this for my a6700. It does exactly as it says and doesn't block any ports, doors, or anything. The only complaints I have are that I have to remove the neck strap loops and there are no instructions in the box.I use my camera 50% of the time on a tripod, so this cage is useful, but the other 50% is hand-held, when having a strap is added security. Because I have to remove the strap anchors to install the cage, swapping back and forth isn't simple, so I am a little conflicted about use.Although there are no instructions, it's not hard to figure out that the cage screws into the tripod mount and the places where the strap loops are. This is the only place on the camera with accessible screws, so they're meant to come off. I like that the cage attaches with multi-points, because that insures the cage is secure when I add accessories to it or mount it to a rig.It has many useful screw points and a cold shoe.

First of all the cage works as promised. Everything is available to use. (battery, dials, buttons, memory card) It is solidly built and has plenty of places to mount equipment. The screen articulation is not effected. There are no instructions in the box but it I figured out how it want on, almost. After installing it I checked the ad to find that in addition to the screw that goes into the bottom you should also screw the cage on with a screw through the strap ring holder on the side. The cage seemed solidly secured without using that screw. To anchor it using that way you have to take off anything you have there for a shoulder strap. When I put it on, without using that screw, the shoulder strap connector I use got wedged under the cage. I need to get the holder out of the way next time.Because there were no instructions I didn't know what 3 of the 4 allen wrenches were for. One can be used to to secure the screw that goes in the tripod hole. The others seem to be for dismantling the cage and removing the screw that is used to anchor the cage. Which one that is, I don't know.As I am new to cages so I don't know if it is standard that they slide on from the front requiring removal of the lens. I try to do quick changes on lenses to limit the opportunity for dust to get on the sensor. One last thing. While it is nice that they provide a guitar pick like flat piece of metal that acts as a screwdriver for the main mounting screw it is held onto the cage by a magnet. I am wondering how long it will take for me to loose it. Keep the allen wrench handy.
