10 STARS ON CNC MANUFACTURING, REAL WOOD GRIP, ACCESS TO ALL PORTS, AND BEAUTIFUL ACCESSORIES; CUSTOM RIG!I'm currently testing several grips for a client who shoots Sony exclusively; he does not have the time to buy each grip, so he asked me to advise him.Sony has been a GameChanger for compact cameras that will deliver a lot of bang for your buck for people with smaller hands. After looking at three or four different grips for the camera, I decided on this one for several reasons. As I put this into my hand, the woodgrain wraps around nicely to my fingers.I have huge hands on every camera I've ever owned and have an extended grip.FITS GREAT!This is the type of cage where you decide not to go with an external grip hanging off your hand with your pinky finger on the bottom. They give you many options for buying external accessories, especially the top hand grip that will match the exterior hand grip for the other side if you create this into a rig.The overall construction of this is fantastic for the price point. The sheer amount of 1/4 screw holes you have is well over 20.This is also compatible with an Arca Swiss plate, which is always great. With these newer camera cages, companies have now included a flat screwdriver with a magnetic piece attached to the bottom of the camera, which is a game changer.I can't tell you how many times I've had to adjust a grip on a camera and not have a wrench key or a screwdriver on me.SO FUSTERATING ON A SHOOT.The old-school D rings are typically included on cameras; you need to get it tight enough. With torque, it is always impossible to take out with your fingers. My favorite part is that you have two cold shoes. Most cameras only include one shoe, and the grip is something I rarely see on a camera cage.Typically, you have to buy it as an external accessory.Another great thing is they include a USB-C to USB-A, which I've never seen before.Four different types of Allen wrench keys are a testament to the CNC design and manufacturing of this rig, demonstrating how much time they put into this cage. For anybody who wants to get into podcasting, blogging, or product shoots, this is an excellent case for the price point because the higher-end alternative is well over $200, not including accessories. The types of accessories people typically put on a cage like this are:External microphone, battery pack.Standard microphone, flash, tripod.External screens. One of my favorite aspects of this cage is the fact that they include 2 3/8 screws. This is key because it will allow you to attach a heavier external 4K screen if you decide to use this as a camera rig or for podcasting. One of the biggest challenges when having a rig or a cage is you cannot see the screen; it will be a perfect opportunity where you don't have to constantly look in the back of the camera for an external power source.Overall, I give a ten on design on CNC Manufacturing in my design award for how much time and effort was put into the CNC manufacturing process. What's also lovely is on the right-hand side, which includes a separate CNC-manufactured gray piece with a nice aesthetic touch. In the construction of these cages, every single thing you need to access, whether your SD card, battery, flippy screen for Sony, or access to all your ports, is OPEN.I've seen too many camera cages designed where you have to physically take the camera cage off to get to a specific aspect of the camera; it's highly frustrating, especially if you're in a shoot New.Look at their Amazon store; they have many camera cages. That's a testament to how confident they are with other camera brands.I bought a brand new Canon R3. I'm waiting for them to come out with a cage for shooting with the rig.I will give this to my client next week and follow up with a 30-day review. If you have any questions, let me know.I'll be posting a 30-day supplemental review.YOUTUBE STATEMENT ABOUT REVIEWS AND PHOTOSI'm in the process of setting up my YouTube studio to create product reviews.I plan to post a video review of this product on Amazon shortly.Once the studio is ready, I will upload those videos on YouTube and share them here.I use a Canon R3 camera with various RF lenses to capture professional product shots for my clients. My experience includes commercial photography at conferences, conventions, product shoots, podcasts, motorsports, PGA, MMA, and various events in Experiential Marketing across the USA and Canada. The purpose of creating these video reviews is to help people understand the practical use of the product and how it compares to other products. This will be beneficial for both Amazon and YouTube reviews.TM

The Leftfoto ZV-E1 full Camera Cage for Sony ZV-E1 comes with a wooden handle, and it is a great product. Installing the cage was easy, but just in case there is a manual with instructions. The cage is made of alloy, is lightweight, and has the nato arca rail, which I found very useful when using with different tripods and angles, without having to take the cage off, The wooden grip makes handling the camera feel secure and sturdy.Overall I am happy with the ZV-E1 camera cage.

Great quality and great protection. It's such a great cage built to contain the whole Sony ZV-E1. Well crafted and it looks very professional, in a great way to match Sony products. It's made from aluminium alloy and selected wood, lightweight and durable. You can see the machining is precise and completed in one go, really is professional. The wood is lovely and adds a sense of nature and firm grip.A lot holes for easy mounting and fairly easy to use. Overall a great piece, compact and versatile, with great quality and great functionality.

The wood hand grip on this cage adds a nice touch to the overall look. The wood grip also adds a lot of girth to the camera making it feel a lot better in hand and giving you a more secure grip. This cage has a ton of mounting locations. You can set up a rig in so many ways with all of these mounting points. This pairs well with my wood accessory handles and wood top handle for a very unique look. The camera has multiple points to be secured to the cage. This will eliminate unwanted shake or shifting during use. This is a good cage that will give your rig build a touch of wood that will stand out amongst the rest.
