Needs to be about 5 mm longer- leaves a gap at the edge. I bought a different brand previously and will go back to that one even though it costs a little more.

There's not much to this filter. One side has two notches to match the plastic supports that cross the intake area. This whole construction is just the pleated filter with a small bit of foam around the edges. I found it a bit more difficult to install because the whole thing compresses and I couldn't tell if it was effectively seated. Pushing a bit more just deformed the filter a little, but it's easy to fix for another attempt. One I figured it was a good enough install I replaced the shroud that covers that upper frunk area. I have not noticed any issues with air flow by adding this and it does fill up that space to prevent leaves from reaching the internal filters.

The air filter is easy to install, but either a defect in the perimeter of the gasket or the air intake port of my Model 3 is causing an air leak and causes a whistling noise when the fan is on high. It appears that the filter is doing a good job at filtering outside air, but efficiency is questionable with the whistling noise. I need to try to identify if it is the filter or if it is a car issue causing it.
