I only give it a 4 out of 5 because I probably didn't install it correctly. Having said that........ with it not coming pre-bent, at least to some degree...... makes it tough to fit the hull correctly. The adhesive that it comes with isn't enough to keep it on your hull unless it is fitted perfectly to the shape. Having said all of this....... I highly recommend it to anyone with a boat...... it will protect your front hull better than you as you land hard......... it just isn't easy to form fit, nor is the adhesive good enough without help. Add additional adhesive, or glue, or whatever, and try and ensure that it is a good fit to the front of your boat. It WILL prevent damage and gouges to the front of your boat, which is why I bought it.

I was a bit skeptical about getting this due to the bad reviews. I read the directions to a "T" and it came out perfect. It's easy to manipulate the shape to the boat. Just take your time and over bend the shape so there won't be a chance of it popping off. It will "remember" the shape you installed it. So over bending is important. I installed it at our boat ramp so I could float the boat away from the install area. If you do it right it will work.

Was looking for this awhile. Would not deliver to Newfoundland for some reason. But while I was visiting my children in Fort Mcmurray I got it delivered to their address.Not liking why they could not deliver to Newfoundland.It is as described

We had previously ordered this keel gaurd from our boat mechanic and unfortunately put it on upside down. We looked on Amazon and found the same keel gaurd and ordered it. It is exactly as shown. Very satisfied.
