The design is durable, weatherproof, and reliable, making it suitable for various environments.However, if you have an indoor aquarium, this feeder might not be the best option. The minimum portion size, even with adjustments, is likely too much for most indoor tanks.Interestingly, the feeder is versatile enough to be used for other small animals as long as their food is dry and in small pieces. It can handle items like chicken corn and squirrel nuts, adding extra value to its functionality.

Make sure you are aware of the size of this item it is huge.But I have tried it on my pond, which to be honest it is far too big for but I am able to test it.I actually weighed the amount it dosed over 20 feeds and was really accurate dosing the same weight, within 1 gram, every feed.It does not come cheap though but if you have some expensive Koi then probably well worth the expense.
