Ordered baremetal. Assembled 32 GB ram, 4 TB HDD, 1TB NVMe SSD. Installed Proxmox on Debian.Overall great device in terms of form factor, performance and price.However there are some flaws,- Quite stiff to take out the hdd. Not a problem to me personally.- Power supply plug comes with angled shape somehow, which does not fit to the device nicely. This is very annoying.- Bottom fan is noisy. Has replaced the fan as other reviewer and it is quiet now. The port on the board has 4 pins for PWM control.

There is no Intel RAID support, so you have to rely on software for that. Added 2x 8TB Seagate Ironwolf disks, tried setting up OpenMediaVault but the raid initialization time was ~2 days, so switched to TrueNAS. Works very well. Temperature is around 45 degrees for CPU, and 40-50 degrees for HDDs.

Ich bin von dem System überzeugt. 2x WD Red + 2x Samsung 980 Pro + 2x 32gb ECC RAM einen Verbrauch von 15-20W wenn die beiden WD Red schlafen. Als Betriebssystem wird Unraid eingesetzt. Lüfter sollte gegen einen Thermalright TL-9015W gewechselt werden um Lautstärke und Temperatur zu senken.
