Tuttavia, ho deciso di restituirlo perché, anche serrando al massimo, non si blocca mai completamente, motivo per cui ho tolto una stella dalla valutazione. Se questo aspetto per voi non è un problema, lo consiglio comunque, dato che svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro anche con obiettivi pesanti come un 600mm f/4 -- ho provato il Wimberley originale e sul campo non si nota la differenza, a parte il "difetto" di serraggio che ho menzionato.

I purchased this gimbal after using a friend’s Wimberley MH-100. I know the Wimberley is a slam dunk but I’m on a tight budget and the price was certainly tempting. I also have to admit that I just liked the way this one looked better as well.I have been using this on a monopod (just to be clear) and the lenses I have been using are an 8.5lb 500mm f/4 and 4.5lb RF 200-800 along with a Canon R8 and Canon R7. Overall I found that all combinations of cameras and lenses balanced well on this gimbal and were easy to use once I got used to the offset design. I have mainly been using the monopod/mono gimbal when photographing birds at feeders where the feeders are at or near eye-level and have been very pleased with the performance of this head.I find the action to be nice and smooth and haven’t had any issues getting the tension just the way I like it so I can swing the rig around to follow the birds in a nice smooth controlled manner.I have now totally replaced my tripod/full gimbal setup with this for traveling. The monogimbal and monopod is so much more compact and lightweight and offers just the stability I want when I have to keep the camera in shooting position for long periods.I would definitely recommend this head to a friend and have no regrets going with the more budget friendly option.

I have to admit, I didn't have a lot of faith when I ordered this gimbal. I am absolutely thrilled however now that it's mine! The way you can carry this over your back with camera and lens attached makes carrying it into the field a breeze. The flexibility and simplicity cannot be overstated. It is very robust - handles my 5D mk IV and Sigma 60-600 no problem. One of the best pieces of kit I've purchased in a long time. I highly recommend it!
