After trying multiple inks on my MontBlanc, I found this ink to have the smoothest flow and most consistent thickness in line strokes while writing, really love the feel it gives.

So, I got ink samples from Goulet Pens and they had a gorgeous deep orange and I knew this would fit the bill when adjusted, because of shopping GP for stationery, fountain pens, rollerball pens, pencils, ink, etc. They actually are very knowledgeable, they ship very quickly, and any problem you have can be resolved. You can REACH them. Crazy. Anyway, the ink itself is a lighter orange on it's own, it handles beautifully, it's a fairly wet ink but I knew that I was going to mix in a little bit of my Higgins Black, which is not as wet an ink as this. It darkened the ink to a GORGEOUS burnt orange, perfect for your fall art and journaling, bujo people hear me, this mix will look really good on your page. It also means it's not quite as wet, which is good in this case as my main journaling pen (Faber-Castell Ambition with modified nib) writes a bit wet anyway. Now you know, color theory is your friend.

The ink arrived in a padded envelope, and left on the front doorstep in January. Luckily, our security camera notified us there had been a delivery, so I brought it in right away. I was shocked to see it in a small padded envelope, while other things I’ve ordered from Amazon that aren’t breakable arrive in boxes with bubble wrap. The ink’s box was slightly damaged as you can see in the photos, which is a shame, as I always keep ink boxes. If it had been in a box it would have been better protected. The ink itself is very sheer to look at and you wonder how it will look on paper, but I inked up a Cross Townsend Medalist, medium nib, and it behaves well on Rhodia paper (80 g/m2). I don’t see an awful lot of shading, and the colour is more orange than red, though the sample photos of the colour are true to life in the Amazon photos that are shown with the ink on the purchase page. It would be nice to have more shading to this ink in a medium nib, but I’ll try it in a vintage flex and compare. Overall, a pleasing ink, but similar to a Kaweco Sunrise Orange ink I have. If you’re looking for a reddish ink, keep in mind that this is definitely a deep orange, and definitely the colour of persimmons. The bottle is lovely and a great addition to an ink collection.

Une teinte orangée un peu clair si ira très bien à cette encre de qualité. Claire mais néanmoins tout à fait visible sur papier blanc ou blanc cassé. Je suis fan de cette marque avec des flacons de toute beauté

Khaki- oder Sharon-Rot wäre die Übersetzung für Persimmon, dieses tiefe, warme, aber doch knallige Orange ist eine ungewöhnliche Farbe mit den bekannt guten Schreibeigenschaften der Iroshi-zuku Tintenserie von Pilot.Das Glas ist ein Blickfang für sich und fast ist es schade, dass Füllertinten wegen ihrer Lichtempfindlichkeit nicht im Glas auf dem Schreibtisch lagern sollten, denn dort gehört solch ein edler Flakon eigentlich hin statt in die dunkle Schublade.

Da ich schon viel positives über Tinten von Pilot Iroshizuku gelesen habe, musste endlich ein Glas her :-) Die Tinte schreibt sich wunderbar in den verschiedensten Kolbenfüllern und bereitet keinerlei Probleme. Klare Kaufempfehlung

Die Farbe dieser Tinte liegt zwischen orange und rot. Sie zeigt ein sehr schönes Shading. Die Tinte hat gute Fließeigenschaften und schreibt sowohl in meinem Pilot capless mit F-Feder, als auch im Montblanc Meisterstück mit M-Feder gut. Bei dem Montblanc braucht sie länger zum Trocknen weil der Tintenauftrag höher ist.
