¡Una expansión de almacenamiento robusta y versátil!El QNAP TL-D800S ha resultado ser una excelente solución para ampliar la capacidad de mi Servidor con unRAID.Su diseño de 8 bahías ofrece un amplio espacio para discos duros, y la conexión SATA 6Gbps garantiza una transferencia de datos rápida y eficiente.Lo que más me ha gustado:* Facilidad de instalación: Conectar el TL-D800S a mi servidor unRAID fue muy sencillo enchufar a la controladora y listo.* Rendimiento: La velocidad de transferencia de datos es notable, lo que se traduce en un acceso rápido a mis archivos.* Flexibilidad: No solo es compatible con NAS de QNAP, sino que también se puede utilizar con ordenadores Windows, Linux, unRAID y TrueNas.* Diseño: Las bandejas de discos duros con cerradura evitan extracciones accidentales, y la construcción robusta en general transmite confianza.Aspectos a mejorar:* Ventilación: Aunque no he tenido problemas de temperatura, el sistema de ventilación podría ser mejor.* Software: El software de gestión del JBOD en Windows podría ser más intuitivo.En general, estoy muy satisfecho con la caja. Overall, the unit works great.It is a bit oversized and overprized - Qnap has simply used the case and the power supply they use for their 8-bay NAS, but without any CPU and mainboard, but with two SFF-8088 ports on the back of the unit, one for the HDD slots 1-4, the other for the HDD slots 5-8.As long as it is used with the included PCIe card (2 x ASM 1164 + PCIe switch), everything works great and out of the box - in Windows as well as in Linux/TrueNas Scale/UNRAID.If you plan - like I did - to connect this unit to a real HBA (like a Broadcom 9500-8e), you will be surprised with two additional drives on the HBA, named "ata-ASMT109x-_Config_....:". These "drives" are part of the enclosure and the HBA can't disable it. In Windows it seems to be not a problem (simply 2 new unused drives), but in Linux/TrueNAS Scale/UNRAID these "drives" are causing a flood of error messages (I/O and read error on /dev/sda ...)within the system log and the boot process and all disk related tasks will take ages.So the conclusion is: Everything is fine as long as the included PCIe card is used, but this case can't be used with a real HBA.

The reseller that I bought this unit from, 'sotel', packaged the unit so well, the retail box didn't have any scratches or marks. This gave a lot of confidence into the contained unit.The unit itself is excellent, giving 8 sata 6gbit lanes via the two included cables and PCIe card.The only oddity is that bay 4 sometimes does not report the hard disk present, and it does not matter if you change the cables to the controller around or switch hard disk drives, this bay randomly seems to lose connection to the contained drive during the power on cycle.As a workaround, I have increased the hosts power on delay to 30 seconds (BIOS) and kept another 30 second OS boot delay.This seems to have reduced the number of times it loses the drive on reboot or first power-up, which makes me believe it is something in the units firmware.Owning the USB-C version of this chassis as well, can say it is a problem unique to the SATA version.Overall, still very happy with the unit, it is quiet and the individual drive access matches the contained drive speeds.
