I printed a benchy from this. The only problem is the benchy does have some engraved writing on the bottom so it did take away from some of the effect. However, you can definitely still see it. I would recommend to have as smooth of a base layer as possible for the most pronounced effect.Also, I had no adhesion issues and it removed very easily from the build plate without any glue or nano adhesive.

I got this plate primarily for the carbon fiber look. The other side, shaded triangles, I have already and is nice on some designs as well. Having both on one plate is a benefit and reduction in overall plates that I need.* Fits standard Bambu profiles (worked just fine on the A1 and P1 but also others as they are standard so far)* Nice 2-sided design, one is shaded triangles and the other is fiberglass like weave* Magnetic hold on build plate is not as strong as standard plates. There could be risk that this warps with the part when using a full plate and a plastic that shrinks.* Good adhesion on first try, held an arduino case model just fine though it's not too complicated or large.* Came well protected with plastic films that were easy to come off. No need to clean for first print. I still cleaned it with IPA to guarantee best adhesion after first try.* May need re-level or do some plate tuning. First layer, while held well, didn't print fully in place and under extruded in some areas. I used a smooth PEI plate settings which should have worked.

I ordered the D257B variant (PEY) and have spent several hours trying, and failing, to get a print to adhere to the surface. I've drafted several versions of this review over the course of those hours, trying to express the myriad settings, tweaks, cleanings, and hacks to try and get it working. Every single test has failed to give me a decent first layer...until now. I have quite a bit of 3D printing experience with several types of printers, all major types of filaments, on many different types of build surfaces. This is my first PEY experience, and it has been maddening. Not because it took a lot of effort to get it working, but because this type of effort is something I haven't had to deal with since I got my first Bambu printer.After getting it dialed in, it has been working pretty well. The filament isn't quite picking up the effect as much as I hoped, but I think I can improve upon it with a bit more effort. I think this is a nice print plate to have for a fun first layer effect, but you need to be ready to possibly have to put some real effort into getting it printing nicely. Or you might get lucky and have it work a lot easier than it did for me!

That's not to say I'm implying the texture makes your print durable. The etched texture itself is durable, and will last a good while on your print! Unlike other holographic pattern print plates, the deep etch on this one makes it difficult to accidentally buff out the pattern from your print. It also means the print plate itself will last a good while. This is a great textured plate and is probably my favorite after market plate, over the standard textured Bambu plate!

I really like SainSmart stuff, I've been in the 3d printing game for a long time and I'd say that this company has done a good job of building a good reputation, so I knew I was in for a good quality item even before receiving it.What you'll receive is a no B.S. dual sided build plate. It is constructed out of a similar spring steel as the OEM plates, and has two distinct sides. First is a matte carbon fiber finish, the other side is a slightly more textured diamond pattern. I managed to crank a few prints off real fast on either side and can confirm that there were no issues with the design coming off the build plate, and everything functioned about as I'd expect it to.As to who this is for - if you're looking for maximum adhesion of your prints, well I'd probably look at a full textured build plate. Not to say that this doesn't also offer excellent adhesion, it's just not what it's primarily made for. However, if you're looking for pretty good adhesion, and also being able to imprint cool designs into the plate-side of your prints, look no further because wow, this blows the socks off of the cheapo alibaba plates, and comes from an awesome company.

Never touch a running system? Aufgrund der tollen Muster habe ich das Angebot, diese Druckplatte auszuprobieren, gern angenommen und habe anschließend eine Achterbahnfahrt wegen der Haftung hingelegt.Fazit: die meisten Probleme hocken 50cm vor dem Display. Wo die serienmäßige Druckplatte einem manches verzeiht und dennoch gute Haftung bietet, habe ich mit dieser Druckplatte (wie auch anderen mit vergleichbarer Funktion) lernen müssen, wo noch im Hiblick auf Einstellungen Verbesserungsbedarf ist. Nach einigen Versuchen übertrug sich endlich der Effekt der Platte auf das Druckobjekt. Total klasse!Wenn alles passt, ist die Platte von der Haftung her super und nach dem Abkühlen lässt sich das gedruckte Objekt einfach ablösen.Insgesamt finde ich die Druckplatte überzeugend und eine lohnende Anschaffung. Der längere Weg bis zu einem brauchbaren Ergebnis werte ich wegen des Lerneffektes nicht negativ, sondern als Bonus.

Vorab: das Produkt wurde durch Amazon zum Testen zur Verfügung gestellt. Meine Meinung bleibt davon unberührt: wenn gut, dann gut - wenn nicht, dann eben nicht.Lieferumfang:Die Druckplatte kommt sehr gut geschützt in dicker, luftgepolsterter Folie an und ist einseitig mit einer zusätzlichen Folie / Film abgedeckt der vor der Benutzung abgezogen werden muss.Aussehen / Effekt:Die Platte sieht an sich wie jede andere Platte aus, nur das 1 Seite eben extrem glatt und spiegelnd ist - und das gewählte Muster enthält (hier: Sterne in Bling-Bling Darstellung). Da die Platte sehr, sehr glatt ist, haften Fingerabdrücke extrem gut darauf!Die Rückseite hat eine normale, mit Struktur versehene Oberfläche in Gold, wie man es von vielen anderen Platten auch schon kennt - hier ist die SaintSmart keine Ausnahme.Hinweis: die Rückseite wurde nicht getestet, da es um den "Bling-Bling" Effekt gingBenutzung:Die hintere Kante hat 2 kleine Nuten mit denen man die Platte auf einem Druckbett positionieren kann, sofern dieses eben Nasen hat. Ansonsten das gleiche Prozedere wie bei anderen Platten auch: Auspacken, sauber machen, auflegen, drucken, warten bis abgekühlt, Teil entnehmen...Kleiner Haken hier: da die Platte extrem glatt ist haftet selbst normales PLA eher spärlich auf dem Bett! Musste bei meinem "No-Name-Reste-PLA" auf 70°C hochgehen um eine Haftung zu erhalten, die einen Druck überstanden hat! Mattes PLA von eSUN wollte partout nicht haften... aus Mangel an Material konnte ich PETG, ABS oder ähnliches nicht ausprobieren.Ergebnisse:Sofern man das Material zum Haften bekommt, stellt sich der gewünschte Effekt ein - man sieht "Bling-Bling" auf der Unterseite des Drucks (hier: Reste-PLA ohne Anpassung/Optimierung o.ä.). Somit hält die Platte genau das, was sie verspricht.Fazit:Für dekorative Oberflächen (Unterseiten?) sicherlich nützlich wenn man die Probleme der Haftung in den Griff bekommt.
