I like everything about this compass, except that while in my backpack, the compass needle jammed into one position, so that it no longer indicated north. The first time it jammed, I shook it free, the second time, it stayed jammed no matter what I did. I had to return the product.Otherwise, a great product, but no use to me if it does not point north/south with a high level of reliability.

The compass does not match what is being shown in the picture. It lacks any roamer scales and does not glow in the dark. The only thing that matches is the lanyard.

De naald zit vast en ik krijg hem niet los. Hij is mee geweest op vakantie in Vietnam, maar hij heeft me in de steek gelaten

Para aquellos de ustedes que están dudando, este es un producto de calidad. Incluso de noche, las señales son claras y tienen buena visibilidad. Pero esto es, por supuesto, para los que van de excursión por la noche. Estoy muy contento con mi compra y lo recomiendo ampliamente. Mi próximo será el nuevo Silva 16 DCL.

boussole de qualité , look marron du cercle un peu surprenant mais ce qui compte c'est sa fluorescence la nuit, boussole qui fait ce qu'on lui demande donc y compris lecture de nuit

Just one issue: the safety release of the lanyard opens too easily. In order to avoid loosing the compass, I would advise making a knot on the lanyard, just before the release. Otherwise, excellent compass.

Die Originalverpackung des gewünschten Produktes war eine Beleidigung dem Kunden gegenüber, in dem Fall mir ge-genüber. Ich bezahle und erwarte auch ein optisch einwandfrei verpacktes Produkt und nicht eines, das aussieht, alsverbreite es die Pest, wenn man es anfasst.
