It’s very small and I don’t understand the plastic screen in it. And it leaks.

This is cute. It is narrow, so you'll need a brush to clean the interior (or a really long dish sponge). There's a little plastic guard (removable) that helps block ice from falling on your face when you tip the bottle to drink, which is great.
