These sockets work as expected but be careful when soldering wire(s) to it. I suggest that it is a good idea to connect this with a plug because it is very very easy to overheat the socket resulting in the end of the centre pin sagging in the plug end of the connector.

他の方も書かれていますが、コネクタの中心にあるピンを固定しているプラスチック（？）の耐熱性が低く、ハンダ付けしようと端子部にちょっと半田ごてを当てるだけで溶けてしまい、ピンが斜めになってしまいます（プラスチックというかビニールレベル？）。１個ダメにしてから気がつき、先にオスコネクタを差し込んだ状態でハンダ付けしたら、ひどく斜めにはならず、使えています。でもコテを当てる時間は極力短時間のほうがいいと思います。ちょっと信じられないレベルの商品です。

The centre pin was oversize and not split across centre to allow for a variation in fit. They did not fit any of the female plugs that i had so threw them away.
