Handle split on first use. Blunt. Wouldn't buy again.

Mine arrived after a month in Australian customs and oh boy was I disappointed. The metal sheath for the handle is cracked all the way down, it looks like it was sharpened with a cinder block and the handle is on crooked. The manufacturer seems to have gone above and beyond to make this thing as bad as possible, everything on it is loose and it is only made of 3 parts not including the cheap machine screw that they put in to keep the head on the handle.Do not buy this, it literally cannot cut anything without some major time with a grinder to fix it. It cuts and handles exactly the same as if you were to swing a shovel at any unwanted flora.Why did they split and break the metal part to fit a wooden handle? Why wouldn't they just shave down the wood??

Je ne l'ai que depuis 10 minutes mais c'est fantastique pour le travail de déblayage des ronces qui ont pris le dessus et qui ont du mal à pénétrer pour la débroussailleuse. Je vois d'autres commentaires se plaindre du fait que ce n'était pas tranchant mais 30 secondes avec mon Sharpel et c'était un rasoir. J'ai failli annuler ma commande à cause de ces commentaires mais je suis content de ne pas l'avoir fait. Juste le bon poids et la bonne longueur, de grande qualité, bien construit, il deviendra mon nouveau meilleur ami !

I guess they don't sell many of these now, most farmers today want to do their hedges from the seat of a tractor. This is probably why it;s so pricey. Time and use will tell if the quality is still there.

Da habe ich mir wohl zuviel vorgenommen. Das schöne massive Gerät muss mit viel Kraft bewegt werden, sonst bewegt sich kein Grashalm...
