All the plastic stripped early . After upgrading to steel axles , the weak point became spur gear . Used this steel gear and fixed the issue . Works well with pin setting . I stick with Traxxas parts.

Looks good! Just an fyi this is not a hardened steel gear. It's what they call Traxxas monkey metal. This is going in my over powered x Maxx. I'm running a hobby wing max 6 on punch 5 setting. Should be fun to see how fast I can shred up this gear. I bought it by mistake thinking it was a hardened steel but that is part number 6448x not 6448r. 6448r is short money so don't care
