We live in a rental with a private garden. There is no clothesline, but plenty of trees that could support this temporary one. I bought it intending for it to be a temporary solution until I could install a proper clothesline myself. But when I found how easy it was to put up and take down, I just made it my permanent solution. I can put up the clothesline in two minutes, hang the clothes, and then take it down when I'm done. No ugly permanent line or rack in the garden. No big expense or posts or concrete or drilling. I love it. It's also quite thick, which means that the clothespins fit snugly and nothing ever falls off. And taking it in after each use means it stays clean and doesn't collect dirt to make the clothes dirty. The time I used to spend wiping down my old clothesline was longer than it takes to put this one up. No complaints at all. Wins all the way around, as far as I'm concerned.

We wanted a removable washing line so when we have social events nobody garrotes themselves. This 100% fits the bill, easy to put up and easy yo take down.
