Very easy to use once you get the hang of the number of clicks for increased speed. Lots of underwater fun. Easy to assemble, operate, and maintain. Airport TSA personnel were confused (never saw them before), but after explaining and showing how used, it went through with no other issue after scanning. Not overly heavy for transporting (2) in a backpack. Definitely want to go on vacation again to use them.

The trigger has three modes1) diving slow mode2) normal snorkel mode3) OMG I need to outrun that shark modeNo idea it had three, found it by accident activated by the throttle. Double/triple tapping. On the surface, it's ok. The deeper you are or the unit is the less resistance and you will go faster. I can't wait to use this diving. My guess is that my air usage was will go way down, battery lasted well over an hour and I used all three speeds. Male sure to rinse with fresh water after use

In super-boost mode (3x clicks), this thing will move water and haul you around with gusto! But, it can't maintain that level of thrust for very long. After just five to ten minutes of fun, it gives up and falls back to boost (2x clicks) at most--and there it's already feeling pretty weak. Another 5-10 minutes later and it's down to regular mode (1x click) and it's more a suggestion than a tug. With the attachment package I had no trouble sticking this on a paddleboard, and the controls were well chosen--with a caveat that it's easy to get sand in the little triggers. I'd have preferred a better-sealed activation mechanism.Best is, I think, to take this underwater for scuba. In that environment even the regular 1x speed would probably be just great for tooling around. At the surface you really want 2x or 3x boost, and for those the battery just feels a little underpowered.Overall, a solid 4/5.

This little device has been worth its weight in gold. I recently went on a cruise to French Polynesia. I have some severe arthritis in my Rt foot and was afraid I would not be able to go snorkeling as a result. I brought along my new subnado hoping it would help. I was amazed at how well it worked. First of all it is pretty light- around 3 lbs- so easy to pack in my checked bag and carry on the snorkeling tours. I was able to stay out as long as I pleased- the device remained charged for approximately 3 solid hours of use. I could swim along effortlessly without the swim fins that would not have worked at all for me. The fish weren’t disturbed by it- I was even able to swim along with a pair of sting rays for several minutes- just inches from them without struggling at all. It has 3 speeds - usually the slower speed worked the best with looking at the amazing Tahitian coral life- but the second speed was great for heading back to the boat. It also has a third speed blast which I only used for fun, it does drain the battery more quickly. Even if you don’t have any orthopedic issues- it’s great fun for zipping around in the water. I would not hesitate to recommend this great product!!
