Not functional with new teams, will send calls directly to voicemail instead of answering. Known issue for Yealink with no response for 1+ year.

This is a great corded desk phone designed for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business, offering a simple plug-and-play experience via USB-A or USB-C connection to a computer. Its 4-inch capacitive touchscreen and full-duplex hands-free speakerphone provide intuitive control and excellent call quality. Yealink's Optima HD voice technology enhances audio clarity, delivering crystal-clear conversations with minimal echo or feedback. It's pretty nice to have a separate device to interact with your team members through MS Teams. (no more alt+tabbing!)However, the MP45 is not a VoIP phone, meaning it cannot make outbound calls outside of the Teams platform. This limitation might be frustrating for users expecting full VoIP functionality. Additionally, the phone only functions when connected to a computer, as it lacks standalone capabilities. It’s also relatively basic in terms of conferencing features, which might not suit users with more advanced conferencing needs. Despite these drawbacks, it’s a reliable, budget-friendly option for Teams-centric environments where outbound calling flexibility isn't a requirement.

Truly plug and play. No configuration needed. Works great and people at office prefer a phone set over headsets for most work. Speaker phone is clear and load.

It works pretty good, but the biggest issue I have is the mute button isn’t integrated with the new teams version as of 7/2024.You hit mute on the phone it does not mute teams and vice versa. So you could find yourself double muted or not muted at times during the call.
