It's pretty thin. I don't know that it is actually all that protective and I got it for an across the country move. I ended up adding in additional foam and protection and then wrapped it to make sure everything stayed on.

Somehow this flimsy, thin, and obviously cheaply made foam cost me $15. It also tore at the slightest bit of resistance. This will not protect your television if you’re moving, and is a complete scam. DO NOT BUY!
