This reel came with severe scratches on top of it and was out of the bubble wrap and had been clearly used!

I bought this reel for my wife mainly for the color and she has loved it. It is actually a great reel. It casts and retrieves so very smooth. I will be trying more reels from this brand.

The Modus SZ2 is a fantastic reel! Out of the box it is extremely smooth and everything rotated freely as it should. Paired it with 30lbs braid and this thing casts a mile! I adjusted the drag, tension, and brakes before casting and I had no issues with backlash or birds nests. To top it off, this is one of the best looking reels out there on the market! Built to last, you cannot go wrong with this reel!

This reel is freaking awesome! Feels great in your hand and doesn’t feel cheap or lack of quality parts. Very good product for the price.
