We have a few items of large furniture from IKEA and it always annoys me that they come with fabric sliders, which, when you try and move the furniture on carpet, they simply peel off thus defeating the object of having them in the first place.These however are designed for both carpet and hard floors and make moving chunky items really straight forward. They aren't the largest size you can get but they do a good enough job and don't deform with large pieces of furniture.However being on the smaller size means you can use them on more than just furniture especially if you've lost one already on the bottom of a kitchen appliance.At the time of writing this review there doesn't seem to be a price available for them however I can see similar sets are between £6 and £7 and I think that's a fair price for what you get.

I have tested them on the things that I usually use them on, things like computer equipment where you may need to rotate it to get to ports for connecting / disconnecting cables etc.I use lots of these types of furniture gliders every year on computer equipment, I use them because some computer equipment is heavy and all computer equipment is fragile, so instead of lifting heavy equipment I opt to "slide and glide" it. I have been using sliders like these for quite a few years now as they are the safest and easiest way of getting to the back of a piece of equipment.These sliders worked just as good as the previous ones (from different brands) that I have used in the past - except that these ones are considerably cheaper than the previous ones I have used and you get many more in the packet. At the time of this review, these are selling on Amazon for £5.99 - the last ones that I purchased cost almost twice that amount and there were only 8 in the packet, so that makes these excellent value for money. I'm only too happy to recommend these as they do exactly what I need them to do.

Bought these to move furniture around on my new wood floors. Stuck them on the feet of my large upright freezer today and it now slides around easily without scratching the floor. Forgot and put rubber pads on the bottom of my armchair legs and could barely move it. Took them off and put the sliders on instead and it moves like a dream! They seem to stick well, as long as you push them on nice and firmly to begin with, but only time will tell whether they hold up to repeated moving. Will certainly put them on all my other large appliances though, to help if and when I need to move them in the future.
