My 14yr old son (wears Sm Adult) was thrilled to be able to his shin guards over his socks with these. Well made, airy yet strong material. Would recommend.

These fit out 15 yo son well. They have an inner sleeve that might be able to fit a shin guard, however they also work to just hold the guard against the shin. They are thinner material that seems to breathe well and 2 pairs for $8 seems very reasonable.
