Got them for my partner who spindles her own yarn for crochet. They're quite simple in design so I really don't know what to say other than they shipped without being damaged, are are made of quality wood. No bells and whistles here.

I am new to spinning yarn, so they seem to be a good beginner level of drop spindle. If you are more advanced, look for something proper (and probably pricier)! But this is the perfect affordable option for someone new to the art who isn’t ready to put in lots of money for a hobby that may not stick, and I was able to successfully spin a bit of yarn (albeit clumsily, though I’m sure that was user error).

Whorl is 3 inch, not 2,23-ish. Spindles are sleek and light, the prize is unbelievable for the good quality.
