I know the item description mentions pets, but please do not use these bells for pet purposes - they are just small enough for them to swallow. Which is what my cat tried to do immediately. Keep your animals safe and don't let them play with these bells.For other purposes, however, these bells are great. The sound they produce is very nice and musical, pleasant to the ear, unlike some other bells I've had in the past that can sound tinny. I also like the color - the metal looks quite high-end, not cheap.I squeezed one a bit to test how durable they are, and they seem quite hardy. They will definitely withstand some wear and tear. You can sew them onto clothes or make jewelry with them, and they won't scuff easily. Of course I'm just guessing here, but I would expect them to retain their sheen for a long time.And considering that there are 200 of them in the pack, it's excellent value for the price!
