Then do this 3 to 5 times to get best performance and longevity from batteries.

Both batteries are charging and working fine. The original battery from my Sony DSC-HX9V was on its last legs so this seemed like an ideal replacement, especially as 2 batteries are provided. The new batteries seem to last ages and there are no signs of them swelling up or causing any other problems so far. They seem to be of good quality. I like that the charger just uses USB and not yet another proprietary charging cable/PSU that ends up getting lost or damaged and can't be replaced. Overall I'm very pleased with these and would recommend them.
