Légérement moins puissante que l'ampoule d'origine (35w contre les 42W recommandés par Matmos), cette lampe fonctionne. Il faudra juste un peu plus de temps...

I ordered these as spares for my Mathmos Astrobaby lava lamp. The bulbs are the correct physical dimensions but feel very loose when installed in the lamp and the wattage is 33% higher than the ones supplied by Mathmos (who I assume know what they’re doing as they invented the original lava lamp) which makes me worry that they’ll overheat the lamp bottle and possibly crack it.I also note that there are only three other reviews at the time of me writing this and all three are suspiciously identical and mention leaving the lamp turned on continuously for a week when every lava lamp I’ve ever owned recommends no more than 4 hours at a time of continuous use....I’ll be putting these at the back of my drawer on the off chance that I need a GU10 bulb for something else, because I don’t trust them in my lava lamp.

I ordered these as the original bulb had gone on my child's Mathmos Telstar Rocket lava lamp. I noticed that the voltage given on the side of the bulb is slightly lower on these than the original (220 v 230 volts), and the wattage is slightly higher (35 v 28 watts) but it works absolutely fine. I would maybe not keep the lamp on for the max time period just in case it overheats though.
