When we got these, at first we thought they were really long for toothpicks. But as you can see by the picture (toothpick next to the silver container), they are perfect and needed a little extra space to have a waterproof seal. They have an attached ring to clip anywhere and keep it close and not get lost at the bottom of any bag that you throw them in. Great stocking stuffer or just a gift in general as they come in a three pack.

When I ordered this, I also ordered toothpicks that are individually wrapped. The toothpicks fit perfectly in this container. It'swell made, & waterproof. You even get a ring to put it with your keys. Perfect size that'll fit almost anywhere.The colors make it easy to find even in a purse or pocketbook. The container is easy to open and close and smooth to the touch. Highly recommend.

I think these were made at a flashlight factory. They remind me of aluminum flashlights.Anyways, they are waterproof, anodized inside, and the possibilities are endless what you might want to keep in them. I will probably use them for seasonings on BWCA / camping / hiking, and maybe medicine for non-air travel. Maybe I'll think of something else.I've included pictures to give you a scale of the size.Yes, it's waterproof with the o ring
