My watchband broke. I've only had the watchband for 20 years but a pin sheared. I thought this kit was going to solve my problem but alas, it does not. The kit comes with an assortment of various lengths of pins. They are stored in teeny-tiny plastic bag. I tried to use a pair of tweezers to fish out the length of pin that I needed but that was an exercise in frustration. It was easier to just dump everything out and risk losing some of the pins. (I have a mat that is used for re-pinning lock cores that makes it easier to avoid losing watch pins.) Alas, while the kit contains pins of the right length, it turns out that the diameter of these pins are ever so slightly too large -- about 0.1mm too large. So now I have to figure out what Plan B is.The kit does come with a nifty tool to help manipulate watch pins. It looks really nice but the tips unscrew way too easily. It's a problem easily solved with a little Lok-Tite but I really shouldn't have to do that. Once that is taken care of, though, it really is a nifty tool that works well for installing and removing watch pins.Overall, it's a decent kit but it isn't universal. If you can use pins of this diameter (1.4mm), this kit should work for you. Alas, it doesn't work for me.
