It’s absolutely crap. 1. it is the first version of this type of servo (42 A vers. 1.1)2. the display isn’t working .3. the motor itself doesn’t work . (Maybe because the display isn’t fine , you will need it for calibration)It is only a few bugs cheaper then the newest one . Buy the newer one

Setting it up was easy enough, has its own built in settings which is nice on the LCD screen. The biggest issue, years ago I tried this stepper motor and ran into an issue where after a certain amount of time the motor would shutoff mid print. I ran into the same issue and refunded this motor as I just bought it again in the last few weeks.The reason for getting this is to have more stable prints, and to fix layer shifting by stepper skipping steps. Customer support was responsive, but unable to give me a clear answer as to why this didn't work well and is why the rating. I tried a lot of things I found online, but every time after about 15 minutes of printing, it would just shutoff and require reset to get back on.

stops skipping steps over all helps print quality when you get it set up right altho it came with the wrong screen had to switch 2 pins around the vcc and ground where backwards

They never worked, no documention on how to set them up and got a used one out of the three I ordered, stay away from this seller!!!

Went through the installation instructions, calibrating/testing and plugging in all the settings. Got the stepper to finally spin, hooked it up to my printer to find that it doesn't have enough torque to move even a light aluminum bed/sled. Tried upping the voltage until the motor started to get warm and it still couldn't move it.Nice idea, but trash execution.Trying to get a refund from the seller on this. So I'll see if I wasted money or not.
