The only benefit to this is the protection from the rain. Bought these along with a plastic box and yes, easy to put together but it does NOT, reduce waste as you can see. Granted, our chickens are fussy eaters but the mess they have made is than the large bowl we used to put out. Personally, I’d give this a miss!!!

Easy to use, the hole cutter was fine only took 10 mins to complete assuming you have the box already.

Since using these Chicken feeders on grain buckets we have not lost anywhere near as much food to wildlife or the hens spreading it all over the ground.It didn't take them long to get used to the feeders. the food is kept clean and also it means that we can fill the feeders up and leave them insitu .Due to having different sizes of bantams we have been able to create separate feeders rather than just having ground feeders that they can all use.Brilliant concept and it comes with a drill to put the holes into your container of choice.
