Grund, schon beim 2. Tauchgang in 2 m Tiefe Wassereinbruch. Trotz sorgfältiger Kontrolle und Silikonfett vor dem Tauchgang. Dann festgestellt das der O-Ring nicht stramm sitzt.Unteranderen fingen die Metall Teile an zu rosten, obwohl sie mit Süßwasser abgespült worden sind und anschließend abgetrocknet wurde.

Firstly, purchase an Insta360 Ace Pro camera. Being a professional photographer, i’ve used gopro for years but made the switch when the Ace Pro came out. It’s the best action camera ever.The housing was purchased to use the Ace Pro in the ocean as a precautionary measure. Being a wave and surf photographer, the housing just gave me that extra peace of mind when in the water. I use this as a stand alone camera or fixed to the top of my Aquatech housing when shooting with my Sonys. Using the housing also makes it easier to get salt water off the equipment. I was forever washing my Ace Pro but still getting salt and sand on the camera. The housing takes that risk away and ensures the camera remains in great condition.Buy the camera, buy the housing.

The silicone used for the seal is very low quality and completely unsuitable for the purpose of a dive seal so the thing leaks water on every dive, even at 15m, and i mean the whole thing is filled with water, not just a drop. Luckily the camera is of good enough quality not to be damaged by this but it makes the footage unusable and the camera cannot be operated as it keeps thinking that the touchscreen is being pressed.
