Got these for a project this spring. They are OK, although I found the short fine wire that come applied to them a bit fiddly to solder and connect would have preferred something more substantial. Still they did the job!

I wanted to use these for sets of 4off AA size rechargeables. Unfortunately, while you can force the batteries into place there is a tendency for one or more of them to pop out, so I've had to use a velcro strap around the whole assembly to prevent that. They may be better with standard alkaline cells. If I get chance I will compare the two cell types' respective diameters.
