There are 8 pads included in the pack, which feel as good a quality as the brand named ones. I have only ever used the brand name pads, which are quite expensive to replace, so was delighted to discover these. They work just as well, the only difference being I found was that more steam escaped whilst I was using the steamer, and the floor was left with more moisture on it than with the named brand, However, this was not a problem as the floor soon dried out leaving as good a finish as I could have hoped for. It removed the odd stubborn patch without difficulty, and when I had finished, the pad washed up very well with warm soap and water. I held a brand mop pad in one hand and this make in the other and they really did not feel too much different to each other. My floor came up looking good and I had no problems at all. The pad was easy to remove by standing on the ribboned flaps that are sewn on to the side.

Value of these is good (about £2.25 per pad), compared to what you’d spend on the official branded versions. I would have preferred a 50/50 split of pads, but there are only 2x of the more abrasive ones. They attach well to our steamer and stay put. I haven’t noticed any particular difference in using these over the official ones - I don’t think I’m putting any more effort in to clean the floor, and the result is the same. They attach well pads are easy to remove and easy to wash - I’ve chucked them in the washing machine on a cool wash and they have fared well.
