It might seem a bit odd to buy a bag of things when you only want one or two of them, but apart from being good value, sometimes it comes in very handy. My last project involved a Raspberry Pi 5 in a box, driven by a DC-DC convertor from 6 NiMH cells in the two 3-way holders. Turned out the voltage from them wasn't quite enough to maintain the full 5V to the Pi at anything less than full charge - no problem, fitting two more cells using one of the 2-way holders got things running great with no hassle or delay.

I do a lot of little projects that just test out a theory, or for my own amusement.. Quite often I'll need some batteries to get a sensor working, or power an Arduino, or test an LED. So I need a nice range of battery connectors because I don't know what I'll need at any one time.They're not 'consumer' friendly. They're light, thin plastic, and open to the sides, so you couldn't use them inside a toy or on a project unless you use a lot of duct tape to keep the batteries together, but for prototyping, project kids and robotics, it's a lovely selection.Each connector comes with wires pre-soldered, to save that ache, and the wires are a good length, between 6 and 9 inches.Very good price for a good selection

Very handy kit to have for someone like myself who repairs electronic items. Good value for money and a good variety of battery holders.

I have a small mantlepiece clock which unfortunately the battery had leaked in the back and destroyed the battery holder. The clock itself is still in excellent condition. Thought I would order a pack of these battery holders to see if, with a bit of modification, they might fit. Excellently with only a small bit of tinkering, a dab of glue and a soldering iron the holder fitted perfectly and the clock is back in place and ticking!Great value for an assortment of sizes.
