Doppelte Verriegelung
Bügelschlösser mit der Double Locking Funktion verfügen über einen Mechanismus, bei dem beide Bügelenden im Schlosskörper verriegelt werden.
Dieser Mechanismus erschwert Dieben das Aufbiegen des Bügels.
XPlus-Zylinder
Bei dem Präzisions-Scheibenzylinder ABUS XPlus handelt es sich um einen im Schloss verbauten Zylinder.
Die vielen Schließungen und der leicht einzuführende Schlüssel sind nur zwei der Vorteile. Zudem bietet der Zylinder sehr hohen Schutz vor Manipulationsversuchen wie zum Beispiel dem Picking sowie vor gewaltsamen Aufbohrversuchen.
Gleichschließung möglich
Der XPlus Zylinder von ABUS hat nicht nur einen patentgeschützten Mechanismus, sondern eignet sich auch gut zur Herstellung gleichschließender Schlösser.
Sie besitzen ein Schloss mit XPlus Zylinder? Dann ist es beim Kauf eines weiteren Schlosses mit XPlus Zylinder meist möglich, dieses gleichschließend zu dem bestehenden Schloss fertigen zu lassen. Allerdings funktioniert dies am besten über einen Händler.

Sturdy lock and wide enough to connect the bike to any bike station.The only downside is that the plastic enclosure breaks apart if the lock falls to the ground

La verdad es que como todo producto ABUS es bueno, se ve que es de una calidad muy bueno, no debe ser fácil de violentar, me gusto, más lo devolví porque a la semana de comprarlo salió una promoción y estaba más barato.

Das Schloss ist bei hoher Sicherheit vergleichsweise leicht, läßt sich gut verstauen und ich habe bisher immer einen Pfahl zum Festschließen gefunden. Es ist ausreichend lang und weit für die speziellen Fahrradparkplätze als auch für Verkehrsschild-Stangen. Ich kann sogar meinen Helm mit festschließen. Einer der Schlüssel hat ein LED-Licht, was sich als praktisch erwiesen hat.

Ich liebe Bügelschlösser wegen ihrer einfachen Handhabung. Dieses hier ist gross genug um das ebike nicht nur abzuschließen sondern auch anzuschließen (den Rahmen an etwas anderes, manchmal geht sogar Rahmen, Rückrad und etwas Drittes wie ein Fahrradabstellgestell - das kommt darauf an, woran man es abschliesst und wie der Winkel ist). Es ist außerdem leichter als erwartet, schliesst und öffnet schnell. Zack-zack und dafür maximale Sicherheit (laut Herstellerangabe). Das ist für mich das Geld wert!

Großes und sicheres Schloss. Mich nervt es ein bisschen, dass man zum Abschließen auch immer den Schlüssel braucht, und das Schloss nicht einfach zusammenstecken kann.

Expensive, but what a great lock. The key engages and turns like butter (important to me after replacing two cheaper u-locks, in two years, that the keys finally couldn't turn any more from binding-up). I've had this lock for a year, in Seattle weather, commuting at least five days a week without interruption (all seasons) and the lock appears to be weather proof. It's heavy, coming in at about 3-1/4 lbs. for the 9" and 3-3/4 lbs. for the longer 11" model (I own both). But when you weigh 250 lbs., and ride steel frames, it's less than 1% difference relative to the cheaper, dead, discarded u-locks I've had. If you're riding carbon, and are skinny, well, I can't imagine you would want this lock stealing back all the reduction in weight you're enjoying. This does not come with the frame mount, bought it separately (about $25). It, too, is excellent, no rattling, easy to remove and return to the mount. The lock's square shackle, hopefully, means that anyone using a power cutting wheel would have to make two cuts, because the shackle does not twist in the lock like round shackles can. The shackle feels stiff/strong enough that a thief would be hard-pressed to bend the shackle after a single cut.

Summary, an excellent strong lock and you will not find anything stronger.This model is p/n 111792 which is the 300 mm reach model without any bike bracket/holder.There are 6 models manufactured by Abus, some with a 230 mm reach and there are two types of bike bracket/holder, the EaZyKF and the USH540 . Thus in the 300 mm reach models you can have without a bike bracket/holder OR with either of two bike bracket/holders. The same with the 230 mm reach models.EaZy KF – Bracket with comfortable one hand operation for easy mounting on round frames with a diameter of 28-36 mmUSH 540 – Universal bracket with easy mounting on round frames with a diameter of 15-35 mmThis review, and the one I purchased, being the 300 mm reach without a bike bracket holder.IMPORTANT to note that this is the latest model 540, there was also a model 54, but if you check the forums and reviews this 54 model had problems with some cosmetic plastic pieces that could be knocked off if you dropped the lock.For the best security you cannot better this lock, and it is rated Gold Secure with a security level of 15 which is the highest that I have seen for any bike lock.Made and designed in Germany by one of the biggest manufacturer of locks.Comes with two keys, one of which has a LED light. Also supplied is a ‘Code Card’ which would enable the owner to order more keys or replace one upon proof of ownership or purchase.On the negative comments I can only list its weight and cost, but then you buy a bike lock like this for the best security. You will not get ultimate security and strength without weight and this of course must cost more. Frankly my bike is worth the expense, plus the inconvenience of making an insurance claim, getting paid and then trying to buy another bike….. Better to lock it securely with a lock like this.
