I recently ordered a V-mount battery and mount for my rig. Currently I power my Lumix S5IIX with a dummy battery hooked up to the battery's USB-C output. But this now gives me the option to use t;he more robust D-tap of the battery and leave the USB-C open to power something else like my phone if I need it. The plug end snaps in securely and the camera powers on and records 4K at 200 mb/s with no issues so far. The voltage readout on my v-mount battery screen does not vary unless I start or stop recording, or turn the camera off. The coiled cable is just long enough for my needs, but if I needed it to stretch a bit, that is the other reason I wanted to have the D-tap plug, since it is snapped in and won't stress the port as much as a stretched USB-C.

Works perfectly for my Lumix G9 shoulder rig with SmallRig battery pack.Now I can supply power to the camera for long time.Higly recommend.
