Specs first, this was made by the OEM, called OMG, which is great quality.Perfect condition, you wont be disappointed. I swapped the metal lever from my leaking petcock and it fit fine. Also, the reserve tube was way too long, so after carefully/firmly unscrewing the filter, was able to trim it down so it's about 2-3 litres remaining rather than 4-6 litres. This makes up for OMG no longer selling only the rubbers (which are now glued in place). If needed you can also buy the fuel filter part separately too. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again. The last OMG petcock lasted nearly 20 years!

Used this on my XR650L with an Acerbis 5 gallon tank. The petcock got to where it would leak in the off position. I would have to disconnect the fuel line and put a vacuum cap on the fuel fitting to keep it from flooding the carb and stinking up my garage.Like another reviewer of this product, I have tried in the past to replace the o-ring in a leaking petcock with poor results, so I didn't even try it on this bike since this unit was available at a good price. I'm very satisfied with that decision!I am also very happy with the functionality. The lever moves more smoothly than the original one that came on the tank and it shuts off the fuel exactly like it should. After I drained the tank to replace the petcock, the replacement process was a little tricky because I was too lazy to remove the tank, so I couldn't see the screws well without getting down on my hands and knees with a flashlight, but it still went pretty smoothly. I used a standard worm gear clamp on the fuel line and it sealed well with no problems. The original petcock had 5/16" screws with slotted heads and this unit came with 5/16" screws with no slots in the heads. Space was limited around the petcock on my tank, so I reused the original screws with a screw driver to install and thread in the original screws and then used a small wrench to give them their final tightening. (being careful not to over-tighten and strip the screws in the plastic tank)I will be happy to buy this product again if/when the petcock on the right side of my tank ever starts to leak.

Bolt holes don't align on the stock gas tank for the 2004 Honda 230F. The filter is not removable and wouldn't fit in stock valve if it could be removed. Quality otherwise looks good.
