Ich habe die Vase als ca. 25 Jahre alte Version von meiner Oma geerbt. Da der Gummi unten leider langsam aufgibt, war ich auf der Suche nach Ersatz. Die zugeschickte Vase ist das komplett identische Modell. Der Preis ist etwas hoch, dafür sehen die Blumen darin wundervoll aus und halten um einiges länger als in normalen Vasen. Die letzte Rose war 2 Wochen wunderschön, bis sie langsam von innen her braun und daher entsorgt wurde.Bei mir ist die Vase absolut dicht.

I had one of these more years than I want to remember ago. We have always been gardeners and sometimes you’ll get some flowers on stems that are too short for vases. The beauty of this globe is that you can still bring those flowers in and enjoy them. Additionally, because it is in water and is a globe, the flowers are larger and more beautiful than in life. The process is simple. There are three pieces to this. In addition to the glass globe, there is a rubber base that acts as a frog…with holes to hold the stems in a simple arrangement. There is also a plastic base that the globe sits in. When you are putting it all together, you turn the globe with the open bottom facing up so it holds it steady while you are working with it. After you are done, the finished globe sits inside it for support. The way it works is that you fill the globe with water and a couple of teaspoons of white vinegar that acts as a preservative. You insert the flower stems into the holder in the rubber base and make sure they are tight. Then you turn the flower arrangement upside down and push the flowers into the water in the globe. You will probably have to squeeze some of the flowers lightly together to get them into the globe. Then you fill in any more water that the globe needs to be completely full. Secure the rubber base to the globe by pulling it over the bottom ring of the globe. Once it’s full, you will need to “burp” out any extra air that is still in the globe. When you finally have the air out, invert it all and set it into the plastic base. You’ll probably have to wipe the glass dry with a paper towel. Your flowers will look gorgeous and very large, and they will last for days.

ich habe meine vor ca. 25 Jahren von meiner Mutter geschenkt bekommen ..sie ist immer frisch gefüllt und hält dicht wie zu Anfang.. Ich liebe diese Kugel.. einen kleinen tipp habe ich .. die Kugel mit Rasierschaum reinigen.. schützt vorm beschlagen und vor Wasserflecken

Mit Blumen bestückt sieht es sehr hübsch aus, was sehr wichtig es ist dicht, nix läuft aus.
