My wife’s review follows…One of my favorite cheese graters ever! It’s easy to use. Effortless and efficient.. Non slippery, stable and sturdy. It has precise grating. The blade is sharp suitable for all cheeses and spices. I grated cinnamon stick to see how sharp and it blew my mind. The previous one I had i struggled with it sometimes would grate lousy and had a mind of its own, would end hurting my finger, it would cut against the blade. But I am beyond pleased with this one .It’s dishwasher safe easy to clean, absolutely no rust, made with high quality steel. It looks very modern and stylish. I love the wood. It’s beautiful. It’s well crafted I’m impressed with how well it works. I give it a five star highly recommend.

I wasn't sold on this but it works great. Had no issue with it and made life just a bit more easier while cooking.

This brought back memories for me. My parents are 100% Italian and we had a lot of pasta dinners. My mom always put me in charge of grating the parmesan cheese. We had this large circular metal bowl with a fitting lid that had a grating surface. Just like this, all the grated cheese fell into the large bowl underneath. The only difference was that the metal bowl was much larger and didn't have a serving bowl appearance to it.I had not seen one of those since my childhood, so as an adult, I would grate the cheese over a paper plate and then fold the plate to create a funnel effect so I could pour the cheese into a serving bowl. This is way more convenient!The acacia wood is so pretty...I'm all about woods and bamboo lately. Such a nice look. The grater is nice and sharp. The lid stays on while grating the cheese. And, the bottom grips are very effective in keeping the bowl in place while grating.I wish it came with a storage type lid. I put some plastic wrap over it to store it in the fridge since the grating surface has holes and that would not be a great seal. Also, the grating surface is a bit small, but that is necessary for the serving bowl to not be too big. Finally, one thing that is different from the one I used as a child is that the entire top surface is pretty flat around the outer edges so there's nothing to catch any of the grated cheese and it just gets pushed off the edge. The one I used as a child had a dip around the edge, kind of like a moat and it caught all the cheese that fell to the edges while you're grating. Not a big deal, just thought I'd mention it.
