This had been a long task to get started. I was in the process of moving, so I hadn't gotten to open and build it until after any return date. The smell of paint is still there, even after 2 weeks of airing out.I was missing many screws, which was an easy fix going to the store. My main issue is the smell. It had lessened in 2 weeks, but is still there if you are by it.Other than the issues above, it overall is a great enclosure once put together and aired out long enough. Im rescuing a tortoise with special needs and a rough start. The hole for the darker side is big enough for him, which i worried about at first. A lot of space for him to explore!

Got this for my baby tortoise. She is about 1.5 inches. She loves exploring her new home!! It's the perfect size and easy to build. The rap covering the glass is a bit difficult to get off but everything else is perfect. Was even able to do a natural bioactive substrate with dirt, moss, and isopods. The light holder is also helpful. I would like it a bit lower but it's okay for now. Beautiful design and very sturdy.

I was super hesitant about ordering this but eventually I caved and bought it. Arrived on time, I laid everything out and put it together all on my own! The instructions were easy, because I read every review (ten times over, I overthink everything) I only used a screwdriver; I was nervous about splitting the wood if I used a drill. The pieces definitely had a strong odor of chemicals mixed in with a woody scent. My nostrils and brain were very confused so that’s the combination of smells they came up with.Moorla, The Ancient One (my tortoise) loves his new enclosure! It’s spacious and has a lot of room for activities ;-)I really like the idea of putting 2 of them together so I might order another one in the near future.Hopefully this helps someone make a decision.Peace out ✌🏻
