Den Alligator nutze ich seit vielen Jahren und bin nach wie vor total begeistert von der Vielseitigkeit und Stabilität. Jetzt war es mal Zeit für einen Neuen.Als meine Ware kam hat leider ein Teil gefehlt. Der Verkäufer hat sich sofort zurück gemeldet und sich entschuldigt.Er hat mir zugesichert das fehlende Teil schnell nachzusenden.Da gab es nur ein kleines Problem, unsere neue Meldeadresse ist nun in Kroatien.Der Verkäufer hat da kein Problem draus gemacht und heute kam das fehlende Teil bei mir in Kroatien an… vielen Dank dafür…

This does a really good job of dicing onions into tiny little pieces. Of course it dices lots of other things, too. I like that it has a catcher to hold the diced pieces. The one I have also came with a cutter that makes double-sized pieces, but I've never actually used it. The main problem is that it is a bit hard to clean. Often the cleaning takes longer than the cutting.For the onions, cut the whole onion into 8ths with cuts on 3 orthogonal axes. Lay one of the 8ths on its back with the point up. Lower the blade down to where it touches the tip of the pyramid, then suddenly press down very hard. Whap! --- Now you have a whole bunch of little diced pieces in the catcher. Repeat for each of the 8ths.

Excellent for use in conjunction with say a soup maker. It will chop crisp items such as carrots onions peppers mushrooms, potatoes and similar items very fast for salads, sauces, stews, etc. Do not attempt to dice 'fibrous' material like meat or fish - it doesn't work.The mesh grid that sits in the base makes it very easy to clean. It you lose or damage this part, cleaning the appliance is very much harder,It would have been better from my point of view if the item had been made elsewhere than in China!

Love this product! I had a Genius Nicer Dicer for almost 2 decades and it finally bit the dust. I knew it was on the way out so I’d been looking everywhere for a replacement. This chopper is even better than my Nicer Dicer. Easier to use and easier to clean. I highly recommend it.
