This is like wearing a cozy blanket. It is so soft and cuddly, but not heavy. I don't like hoods on most things, so I cut the hoodie top about a third down from the top stitch and made it into a big collar that I can pull up if I need to keep my neck warm, but that is just a personal preference. It didn't need stitching where I cut, and the fabric didn't fray even after washing. If you like to stay warm this is for you. It is long and it drags when I walk, I am 5'4", so if you are taller, it will still work for you. If you are shorter and want it to be shorter, I suppose you can shorten it without it fraying.CON: The only thing is that the front pocket is positioned so low in front that I cannot put my hands into it without reaching down to bring it up to hold around my hands. The pocket could be a little higher to make it easy to put your hands in it. It is designed for someone that is taller and with much longer arms than me.
