It does what it says it does and it is what it says it is... but I think this blanket might secretly be part superhero—capable of saving you from freezing temperatures, scratchy stadium seats, and the dreaded Netflix-chill. It’s like being wrapped in a sheep’s warm embrace (minus the baa-ing)!The size is perfect for a one-person burrito wrap or a two-person cuddle-fest, whether you’re braving the wilderness or just braving the couch. We keep one of these blankets in the car for adventures and emergencies. Great if you have a dog. We have a couple more for cold nights or movie nights. The kids love them to sleep near the wood stove. Really tough, good looking and warm.

I bought this for my living room sofa as I assumed a wool blanket would be nice and soft in winter, but the blanket seems to for outdoor use only. The blanket is very well made but very inflexible or soft. It almost feels like a heavy canvas paint cloth. It makes sense if you consider its more for using out doors like a picnic blanket to sit and stand on, rather than be wrapped up watching movies from the sofa.Overall its a great product but should only be used out doors.

to amazon reader reviewers i purchased this arcturus blue buffalo check blanket on 11 april and recieved it on the 23 april 2022 no problems there it is now the 6 of may and i am extremly dissapointed with the quality of this 80/20 wool synthetic mix blanket there are some issues which i would like to elaborate on 1- this blanket has a horrible plasticky chemical smell coming from it i have tried airing it out in the sun but to no avail this smell is like the same smell you get when you smell those cheap plasticy goods/ clothes made in china or india for a blanket claiming to be made from 20% hypoallorgenic fibers i would say thats highly ironic 2- this blanket sheds a lot of wool fluff which i fount to be irritating to my nose and made me sneeze more than a few times since i brought the blanket i suspect the blanket is made with a percentage of recycled wool fibers which can cause such wool fluff shedding i have not tried to wash the blanket yet but i am a little concerned it may shrink when it dries even if i wash it in the bathtub with cool water 3 - this wool blanket has a lot of little white threads running through its weave i pulled a few out and they looked plasticy in origan 4 - when i first looked at the wool blanket i found this largish wool knot in the blanket weave which i did not remove because i did not want to weaken the blankes wool weave 5 - i found many of these off white flakes embedded into the weave of this blanket i can only describe them as plastic material molten into the fabric of the wool blanket i have included images for each of these issues for you reader to study for yourself now for my evaluation of this arcturus wool blanket to be honest i am extremly dissapointed and not at all happy with the wool blanket i recieved sure i got the blue buffalo check because i liked the colour and i chose to buy the blue check because it was advertised as being on special being cheaper than the other colours but that does not mean i should be given a DUD! allright! the quality control was really lacking here as applied to the blanket i recieved i would like to return this blanket and recieve a refund but i cannot because i trusted arcturus to send me a good quality product and upon recieving the wool blanket i threw away the box and packaging my bad readers here so i write this review in order to let other wool blanket shoppers to carefully consider their options and maybee ask more questions regarding the product thanks for reading good luck god bless
